Gunite Pool Construction
Custom Gunite Pool Construction in Cape Coral
A gunite pool is the most flexible way to build in a Cape Coral backyard. Seedthechange sprays a pneumatically applied concrete shell over a steel rebar cage, which means the pool can take any shape, depth, or feature you want, from a tanning ledge to a raised spillover spa or a vanishing edge over a canal view. The shell is finished in quartz or pebble aggregate that outlasts standard plaster by years.
Why Homeowners Choose Gunite
- Fully custom. No mold and no fixed footprint, so the pool is designed around your lot, your seawall setback, and how you use the yard.
- Durable in this ground. A properly engineered shell and rebar cage stand up to the sand-over-limestone soil and high water table across Lee County.
- Long-lasting finish. Pebble and quartz interiors last 15 to 25 years, far longer than the 5 to 10 you get from white plaster alone.
Our Process
We stake the layout, dewater and excavate the hole, tie the rebar cage, and rough in the plumbing before the shell is shot. Then comes tile and coping, the deck, the interior finish, and startup, with the NEC 680.26 bonding grid set in 8 AWG copper and each stage inspected by the city. A custom build near El Dorado Boulevard typically runs two to three months from stake to swim.
